Maurice Rogers II is a native of Lumberton, NC, though born in Raleigh, NC. Maurice spent his grade school years volunteering for his local nonprofit organization, 4-H, as well as at Colvin Funeral Home.

Maurice also spent a lot of his time expressing his talents through music and theatre. In high school, Maurice was well known for marching in his high school marching band. Maurice graduated from Lumberton Senior High School in June of 2017 and attended North Carolina Central University (NCCU) that Fall in pursuit of his Bachelor’s Degree.

Maurice wanted to further his love for band that after graduating from high school, he joined The Sound Machine at NCCU where he marched a full 4 years. Maurice joined Kappa Kappa Psi, National Honorary Band Fraternity Inc. Maurice decided at an early age that his dream career was to be an attorney, so his aspiration at the end of undergrad is to attend North Carolina Central University’s School of Law.
